We know that child care is a major investment — and we want to make sure Playto families are aware of the generous tax benefits available to help reduce those costs. If your child is enrolled at Playto in 2025, you may be eligible for thousands of dollars in tax credits when you file your return in 2026.
Here's a simple breakdown of the most valuable tax credits and savings opportunities available to families this year:
This credit helps working parents cover the cost of care for children under age 13.
Claim up to $3,000 for one child
Or up to $6,000 for two or more children
The credit can cover up to 50% of your qualifying child care expenses
Fully refundable — meaning you can receive it even if you don’t owe taxes
Tip: Save your receipts and make sure to request your annual child care summary from our team before tax season!
This credit helps ease the general cost of raising children — including those who attend child care.
$2,200 per child under age 17
Up to $1,700 per child is refundable, depending on income
Phases out gradually for higher-income households
Families with earned income may qualify for this additional credit:
Up to $4,500 for one child
Up to $7,300 for two children
Up to $8,000+ for three or more children
Even families who owe no taxes may still receive this credit as a refund!
If your employer offers this benefit, you can:
Set aside up to $5,000 tax-free per year for child care expenses

Whether you’re a new family, a long-time member of our community, or someone who shares Playto with others, there are meaningful benefits available to you.
Refer-a-Friend Tuition Credit
When you refer a friend to one of our centers and they enroll full-time, you'll be eligible for a $500 tuition credit as a thank-you. There are no limits on referrals. For full details, reach out to your center director.
Sibling Discount
Families who enroll more than one child with us can receive a 10% tuition credit in recognition of their continued trust. If you have more than one child in our care, your center director can walk you through the details.
Employee Discounts
If you're part of the Playto team, additional discounts or tuition credits may be available to you. Each center has their own policy. Check in with your HR manager to see what’s currently offered.
