Childcare Readiness Checklist
Health & Safety
Schedule a check-up with your pediatrician to ensure your child is up-to-date on vaccinations and request an annual medical form.
Provide us with a list of emergency contacts, just in case.
Discuss any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs your child may have with the childcare staff.
Making Baby Comfortable
Pack familiar comfort items such as a favorite blanket, stuffed animal, or pacifier to help your child feel secure in their new environment.
Bring your little one to meet their caregiving team in advance of their first day.
Feedings & Nutrition
Playto is happy to accommodate your dietary needs – just let us know at least 2 weeks in advance of your child’s start date.
If you'd like to provide your own food, no worries! We will store any perishables on site and ensure you're aware of how much they ate.
If you’d like, you’re welcome tor stop in at any time to breastfeed – we have a comfortable chair available in every room for nursing mammas.
Coordinate with the Playto team to establish a feeding schedule that aligns with your child's routine.
Sleep Schedule
We’ll ask you about your child’s napping schedule and preferences before your first day.
Pack any sleep aids or comfort items your child uses during naptime. Please note: For infants 12 months and under, we keep their crib object-free for safety reasons.
